Terms and conditions

By paying in full, you agree to the following terms and conditions, in addition to our standard terms and conditions here:

• If there are any inaccurate measurements, a surcharge might be payable at the time of installation.
• Rooms must be as clear as possible, with all smaller items and personal belongings removed.  We may need to reschedule installation if the fitter is unable to install the carpet in the time allocated.  If you have any doubt as to what is required please call our team on 01276 53 88 77.
• Once placed, orders are sent to our warehouse for cutting and our fitting subcontractor is booked for your chosen date. In the event you change your mind, we may not be able to offer a full refund unless it's more than 14 days prior to installation. Please read our full refund policy here.
• Unfortunately door trimming is not a service we can provide. If there is insufficient gap underneath for the thickness of the carpet and/or underlay, we will remove the door on the day of installation, in readiness for a suitably qualified person. If it's a front door or has any self-closing safety mechanisms, we may not be able to install the carpet on the day and will need to return at a later date which may incur an additional charge.  As a general rule, a 20mm gap would be sufficient for our carpet and underlay combinations other than SAXONY carpets, where a 25mm gap is recommended.
• In exceptional circumstances, it may not be possible to undertake the work for the price quoted if our fitters are presented with a problem they cannot reasonably put right in the time allocated.  An example of this would be a carpet that is fully stuck to the subfloor with permanent adhesive which would require tool hire to remove.  This is extremely rare in residential properties, and in the event our adjusted quote is not acceptable we will refund your deposit in full.
• Rooms are calculated the most economical way, which means the carpet pile direction may be spun 90 degrees between areas. Eg. A bedroom carpet may be laid in a different direction to the hallway. Most customers do not mind this but please be aware carpets can sometimes appear a slightly different shade when pile direction is changed.
